INTEREST GROUPS

Regularly scheduled, themed gatherings of Pi Phi alumnae - join a group, or join several!

Kari Stubbs

Downtown Discoveries

Kansas City hasn't had this vibrant of a downtown since the last Roaring 20s! This group will get together and discover restaurants, bars and other fun things to do in downtown KC. This will be led by our own downtown "insider," Kari Stubbs of @jimkari_social on Instagram.

Wine and Blue Walking Group

Walk, talk and be healthy! Combining social time with light exercise is just what the doctor ordered! This group will typically meet in the Loose Park or Prairie Village areas, but we'd love to have other Pi Phis leading regular walking groups in other parts of town.

Pi Phi Popcorn Posse

We'll get together monthly to see the latest releases from Hollywood, Bollywood and anywhere else that looks interesting! All Pi Phis are invited to join us!

Depending on who participates, we'd be happy to visit different theaters in different parts of town.  Our group will alternate seeing movies during the day and in the evenings.

JOCO Dinner Club

Enjoy dinner club without the stress of hosting at home! We'll visit restaurants monthly to try delicious food, but most importantly to have much needed, stress-free fun and lots of great conversation.

We're primarily based in Johnson County, but the club is looking for others who would prefer to meet up in other parts of town -- Northland, WyCo, eastern JxCo, etc. There's a lot of area to cover in our metro! Please contact Julie for more information! â€‹

We pick the books we read from month to month, and we're always delighted to have new faces join us. We meet in the evenings in a different Pi Phi's home each month. Welcome, readers!

KC PI PHI Omegas

The Greater KC Alumnae Club has a long legacy of those who have served Pi Beta Phi as local, regional and international Fraternity officers. The KC Pi Phi Omegas -- that's Greek for "Past Fraternity Officers" -- are a social group of veteran Pi Phi volunteers committed to fun and promoting the opportunity to volunteer as chapter advisors and club leaders.

Pi Phi toddlers

Little Angels Play Group

Meet up with other Pi Phi moms and their babies/toddlers for play time (and Mom time). It's the perfect way to meet - and stay connected - with Pi Phi sisters, while raising littles!

We're looking for Little Angels Play Group Coordinators for various parts of town. Would you be interested? Please let us know by emailing us! We'd love to have more than one group.

Intermediate Level Bridge

The Pi Phi Bridge Group (intermediate level) meets on Friday mornings. Please contact our group chair, Joanna Glaze, for details.

PLEASE NOTE: Are you a beginning bridge player? Interested in starting your own group for Pi Phis? It can be in any part of town... any time that works for you. Please message us at KCPiPhi@gmail.com to let us know you're interested, and we'll get the word out!

question mark

What are we missing?

Are you into KC jazz, learning mahjong, walking dogs or stitching needlepoint canvases? Playing cards, paddling canoes, practicing yoga? Maybe you've been thinking about starting a Bible study? We'd love to hear from you about what types of interest groups sound fun, what part of town they should meet in and who might be willing to coordinate a group!

The group coordinator doesn't have to be an expert, just someone willing to pick the day, time and location for regular meet-ups (usually monthly). We'll then publicize on your behalf.
