Membership Milestones
If you're one of the many Kansas City-area alumnae celebrating a milestone membership year in 2026, we're already making plans to celebrate YOU! Please mark your calendar now for our Summer Sisterhood Soirée on June 4, 2026 at Mission Hills Country Club.

In early January, we'll email you with details about this year's celebration. For the women celebrating their 25th and 50th anniversaries, it's an especially memorable milestone; you'll become members of the Silver Arrow Society or the Order of the Golden Arrow.

Not sure? Pi Phi alumnae initiated in 1951 will receive their Diamond Arrow. Initiates in 1976 are this year's class for Order of the Golden Arrow. And those women who were initiated in 2001 will mark 25 years of membership in the Silver Arrow Society.
Finally, we realize there are Pi Phis who were eligible to be recognized for their 25th and 50th anniversaries but were not available to celebrate with the club that particular year. If you'd like to be included in the recognition on June 4, please let us know! We'd love to include you!
In recent years, this has been a perfect reason to coordinate pledge class reunions in Kansas City, especially for the graduates of area schools; 2026 will be no exception. While this year's celebration will have a bit more of a Kansas City focus (i.e, the women from our club), rest assured we'll recognize and celebrate all Pi Phi sisters marking a milestone year!

Whether you're the sole Washington Alpha in the group or you're among 30 of your closest Kansas Alpha pledge sisters, this year's celebration will be fun and inclusive for all club members. After all, we wouldn't be here without each of you!
Scroll down for some important information regarding recognition pins. Pro tip for Golden Arrows and Silver Arrows: Order your recognition pin or pendant now, because they often take 2 months to arrive! The club happily purchases the diamond arrow pins for our 75-year members.

Diamond Arrow (75 years)

According to The Arrow of Pi Beta Phi, only 150 women each year reach the milestone of 75-year membership status. Becoming a Diamond Arrow is a celebration of Lifelong Commitment. The Greater Kansas City Alumnae Club recognizes this with a special ceremony, either at an alumnae club event or at the member's residence. We invite the members of her family to join us, and it typically includes a cookie shine in her honor. We also present her with a beautiful diamond arrow pin or pendant that the club purchases in her honor.

The club contacts each eligible Diamond Arrow in the new year to make these arrangements. If you know of a 75-year member who hasn't heard from us, please contact our Diamond Arrow Coordinator, Barbara Luhrs at luhrsladies@kc.rr.com

We are thrilled to recognize our 50-year members, as they join the Order of the Golden Arrow. This important milestone celebrates a lifetime of commitment and loyalty to Pi Beta Phi. If you were not able to join us for your Order of the Golden Arrow recognition on the year you were eligible, we invite you to participate in this year's event. Allow us to celebrate you as a 50+-year member of Pi Beta Phi!

Each Golden Arrow member is eligible to purchase a recognition pendant or pin. Prices depend on your choice of gold plate or 10K gold. Please click the links below the photos for all the details.

We ask you to order your pin or pendant at least 8 weeks prior to the event and bring it with you to our celebration.

Please note:  It is not a requirement to purchase or wear an anniversary pin in order to be recognized in the Order of the Golden Arrow. You will also receive a certificate from the Fraternity.

Silver Arrow Society (25 years)

You'll then bring it with you to the celebration that evening. Each Silver Arrow Society pin is $35.
